๐ŸŽ‰ Exciting Announcement from Frictionless Inc.

In 2018, I started working in the Austin startup scene and found a love and passion in the excitement of creating new business ideas, and being a risk-taker while also being vulnerable in doing work that had never been done before.

Startups are hard work. There are many ups and downs, mistakes, learning, and living in the very definition of grit.

To say my learning curve over the last several years was whiplash is an understatement โ€” it was a whiplash of biblical proportions. I was shot from the bowels of corporate America to learning about investment, valuations, creating that magical MVP, and getting a go-to-market strategy in short periods of time to move fast. While I was on my ramp, I met brilliant and talented people in every area of startup expertise.

We all became great friends and now weโ€™ve come together to create Frictionless Inc.

Today marks the debut of Frictionless, a startup consulting and advisory firm that gives global entrepreneurs an edge to accelerate their business from concept to scale. We believe all innovators, great thinkers, and risk-takers should have the opportunity to excel so we help founders pursue and make real - the possible.

  • Weโ€™re a growth partner that reduces startup friction.

  • We give global founders an edge by structuring their startups for Silicon Valley.

  • We developed a proprietary toolkit that is designed for early-stage businesses to reach the next stage and raise funds faster.

Right now, we are inviting founders to engage with us and move forward together.

Why Latin America?
Our team is Latin America strong. Many of the Frictionless team members work and live in LatAm from Mexico to Argentina. Really, we come from places all over such as Austin, San Antonio, San Francisco, Boston, Singapore, and Europe.

  1. To expand access. The fact that Latin America is still behind the developed world in many ways makes for an even greater opportunity in virtually every sector, ranging from property technology and health care to logistics and supply chain and, of course, financial services.

  2. To increase diversity. Since the startup boom that began developing in 2017, Central and South American countries have impressively demonstrated their entrepreneurial strength. Despite the unique challenges the countries face โ€“ lack of infrastructure, inequalities, high poverty rates, and a lack of local funding, just to name a few โ€“ founders in the tech scene have shown tremendous growth patterns.

  3. Tremendous growth potential. 2021 was by far the peak investment year in Latin America, making it the worldโ€™s fastest-growing region for venture capital.

  4. Provide US access. We have the know-how to expand Latin American startups into the US, providing them with additional assets and an expanded network of opportunities.

In this age of global economic uncertainty, the cards in the world are being reshuffledโ€“but the rules of the game are also changing. The structural inequality between Latin America and the rest of the world is no longer putting the brakes on economic growth or startup creation.

We are committed to fostering entrepreneurial growth and we are joining forces to be a part of the startup spirit in Latin America.
